About Me
I started out my professional life as a mechanical engineer, graduating from the University of Washington. As an engineer, it was natural to sort through the details and put together pictures in my mind of how things connect.
The ancient chinese did this using nature as their model. We are very connected to the natural world around us. We are the natural world. Observing nature allows us to picture how complex organisms like humans fit into the natural cycle and how we can function at our best.
My 5 Element Acupuncture degree is from Wu Hsing Tao 5 Element School in Seattle Washington. Currently I am a certified diplomate of Acupuncture through NCCAOM and have licenses to practice acupuncture in both Washington State and Michigan.
